Short version: this is a free hobby project showing public Steam player-count data. There's nothing to sign up for, buy, or agree to beyond "use it reasonably." Data is provided as-is, with no guarantees of accuracy or uptime.

01 Acceptance

By using Game Tracker (gametracker.wiki), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site — though given there's nothing to agree to beyond "browse responsibly," this should be easy.

02 What this site is

Game Tracker is a free, non-commercial, independently run tool that displays historical player-count and pricing data for games on Steam, based on Steam's public API. There are no accounts, no payments, and no way to submit content — it's a read-only, browse-only site.

03 No warranty / data accuracy

The data shown is pulled automatically from Steam at regular intervals and is provided "as is," without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, or availability. Player counts, prices, and other figures may be delayed, incomplete, or occasionally wrong due to API issues, outages, or bugs. Game Tracker should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any purchasing, investment, or other decision.

04 Availability

This is a hobby project run on a single server. There's no guarantee of uptime, and the site may be slow, unavailable, or discontinued at any time, without notice.

05 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Attempt to disrupt, overload, or attack the site or its infrastructure (e.g. scraping aggressively, DDoS, exploit attempts);
Use automated tools to hammer the API endpoints in a way that degrades the service for others;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the underlying server or systems.

Reasonable personal use — including light scripted access for your own purposes — is fine. If in doubt, ask.

06 Third-party data and trademarks

Game names, images, and related data are the property of their respective publishers and developers. Steam and the Steam logo are trademarks of Valve Corporation. Game Tracker is an independent, unofficial project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve.

07 Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time as the site evolves. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes.

08 Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Game Tracker and its operator are not liable for any damages or losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, this site or the data it provides.
